Retail State of Mind.

Ella Cole is an Associate at Capricorn Retail Advisors, where she supports the retail leasing team throughout the deal cycle. Her experience spans leasing strategy, financial analysis, market research, and client deliverables across both agency leasing and capital markets. Prior to joining Capricorn, Ella worked as an Agency Leasing Associate at Transwestern in Washington, DC, where she focused on federal office leasing and supported owners through complex GSA lease pursuits, proposal analysis, due diligence packages, and negotiations. In this role, she worked closely with brokers, owners, and government stakeholders to evaluate lease economics, benchmark market activity, and develop strategies to competitively position assets for federal tenants.

Ella also gained real estate experience through roles with JLL, The Bozzuto Group, and Madison Marquette, where she supported investment sales, underwriting, market surveys, lease-up strategy, and retail merchandising research. She is originally from Washington, DC and graduated from Tulane University’s A. B. Freeman School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Management, double majoring in Management and Marketing with a minor in Real Estate.
